I am excited by the challenge to "go deeper" in discipleship this year. I hope you are too.

Last weekend, we talked about going deeper in our worship, in pausing awe and mystery at the "Great Exchange" that we celebrated in Christmas and Epiphany: the One who was divine became human so that we who are human could be restored to the divine image in which we were created. It is that mystery of incarnation that we celebrate in our worship.

But that mystery is not something that we can understand intellectually. We have to "see" that mystery through the eyes of faith. Deep discipleship requires that we see who we are and who God is. I hope you will join us this week as we seek to see God and ourselves more clearly.

See you in church!
